Overview
Big Text LED Banner is a simple utility app that displays large text on your screen. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.
No account registration is required. We do not collect your name, email address, the messages you type, or data used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. We use privacy-conscious analytics, diagnostics, and purchase services as described below.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, Apple ID, Google Account, or payment details
- Precise location
- Camera or microphone data
- Contacts or calendar data
- The messages or text you type in the app
Analytics & Diagnostics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate product usage and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and technical failures. These services may process a randomly generated app identifier, coarse location derived from network information, device and operating-system information, app version, product interactions, and diagnostic data. This data is not used for cross-app tracking and is not linked by us to your real-world identity.
Advertising-ID collection and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the Android app. We do not send the banner messages or text you type to Firebase. For more information, see Firebase Privacy and Security.
Subscription & Purchase Data
This app offers optional Big Text Pro subscriptions and a lifetime purchase. Entitlement management is handled by RevenueCat, a third-party service.
RevenueCat may collect:
- A randomly generated device identifier (not linked to your identity)
- Purchase and subscription history (to verify your entitlements)
- App version and operating system version
RevenueCat does not receive your Apple ID, Google Account credentials, name, or payment details. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google, depending on the store where you obtained the app. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
App Stores
This app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple or Google may collect certain diagnostic, usage, and purchase data in accordance with your device and store settings. See Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Screen Brightness
When you activate the banner display mode, the app temporarily increases your screen brightness to maximum for readability. Your original brightness setting is restored when you exit the banner. No data is stored or transmitted.
Local Data, Retention & Deletion
Recent messages, favorites, and display settings are stored locally on your device. Android cloud backup is disabled for the app. Removing the app removes this local data.
Analytics, diagnostic, and purchase records are retained only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the app or to meet legal and store-accounting obligations. You may request deletion of data associated with the app's anonymous customer identifier by using Request data deletion in the app or emailing dublinappcenter@gmail.com. We will use the anonymous identifier included by the app to locate the applicable records.
Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. The app does not contain any features directed at children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
